Here’s a significant boost to Reels and Messenger Rooms! Facebook adds Reels and Rooms on the top panel with Stories. This is to boost the exposure of both features on Facebook feeds. Reels are 30-second music clips just like TikTok. They are Instagram’s TikTok clone. Rooms are joinable audio rooms and video rooms on Messenger that can accommodate up to 50 people.
As Facebook tested sharing Reels on its feed and integrated Rooms in Live and WhatsApp, it continues to find ways on boosting its exposure. App researcher Alessandro Paluzzi tweets the update. On his tweet, an image of a Facebook feed shows Reels and Rooms besides the Stories panel on top. The test is now live among selected creators and groups.
