Twitter is continuously working to make it easier for people to find and join Spaces. Launched in May 2021, Twitter Spaces is a Clubhouse clone of live audio rooms. The microblogging site allows co-hosting with a speaker list, downloading, scheduling, and ticketed Spaces. It also redesign its mobile app with a dedicated Spaces tab. Today, Twitter expands the rollout of the Spaces tab.
Twitter is now rolling out Spaces to all English users on iOS. A new Spaces tab icon will now appear at the bottom of a Twitter profile page. Tapping on the Spaces icon showcases lives audio rooms based on interests, people, and topics that a user follows. Twitter is also testing DM invites when a user begins a Space. After starting a Space room, a host will see a prompt asking to invite other people to join the Space.

Implications for Marketers:
Twitter aims to maximize engagement as it expands the rollout of the Spaces tab. Moving forward, it also plans to roll out Spaces for Android and other languages. For marketers, Twitter Spaces is a new way to promote a brand, product, or service via audio ads. Such a different form of a campaign can broaden both reach and revenue.
