Instagram Reels are the most appealing TikTok app competitor. They are video remixes that last up to 90 seconds. The platform even introduced Montage, a tool to turn Stories into Reels. Today, Instagram expands access to Reels templates.
Instagram started testing the Reels templates last April. It was initially available to a selected number of users. Today, Instagrammers will be seeing the “templates” option on their Reels camera. It allows users to select a Reel’s format based on popular trends. Reels templates will take the user on a step-by-step process to easily create a similar Reel.
Instagram expands access to Reels templates on 05 July 2022.
Implications to Marketers:
As Instagram expands access to Reels templates, it gives marketers a handy way to create Reels ads and promotions. Brands that run out of creativity can get inspiration to upload more engaging clips.
