Calling all Facebook users! Do you want to experience the fun of watching live videos and conveniently shop at the same time? Facebook introduces “Live Shopping Fridays.” Using Facebook Live producer, brands can now go Live with other collaborators to promote products and services. They can also go live via Messenger Rooms. Such a feature is also similar to Instagram Live shopping which was launched in July 2020.
Live Shopping Fridays
Live Shopping Fridays are accessible on the Shop tab of a Facebook app. Starting 21 May 2021, 3 different brands will go live on Facebook every Friday until 16 July 2021. These live shopping events will evolve on 3 different themes as follow:
- Glow Up featuring beauty brands. This theme will commence on 21 May, 11 June, and 02 July from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM PT and 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
- New Fashion Finds featuring the latest summer fashion and trends. This theme will commence on 28 May, 18 June, and 09 July from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM PT and 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
- Self-Care Spotlight featuring body, mental, and skin health products and services. This theme will commence on 04 June, 25 June, and 16 July from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM PT and 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM Pacific Time.
