Instagram Extends Reels Length to 90 Seconds

There is no doubt that Instagram Reels are the stiffest competition of TikTok clips. That is why even Facebook now has Facebook Reels. Instagram also introduced new Reels features and tools from time to time. The platform introduced Montage, a tool to turn Stories into Reels. It enabled Reels templates and lengthen Reels to 60-second. Today, Instagram extends Reels length to 90 seconds.

Yes, Reels now last up to 1 minute and 30 seconds. Matt Navarra, the founder of Geekout, tweets the update. He shows a picture of an Instagram user, Jonah Manzano with a Reels timer with options of 15, 30, 60, and 90 seconds.

Instagram extends Reels length to 90-second on 28 April 2022.
