Spaces are one of the latest features of Twitter. Spaces are Clubhouse clone live audio rooms launched last May 2020. Since its launch, Twitter focuses on enhancing its features and tools. The platform has enabled recorded Spaces, scheduling, and ticketed Spaces. To further allow its discovery, Twitter tests topic tags on Spaces for English users of the Android app.

Spaces hosts can now add up to 3 topics on the Spaces end card. They can be added up during the set-up process. There are 10 topic tags currently available for Twitter Spaces. These are:
- Arts & Culture
- Business,
- Entertainment
- Finance
- Gaming
- Home, Family, and Careers
- Music
- Sports
- Technology
- World News
The platform is looking forward to adding more topics and enable these topics to iOS users soon.
Twitter tests topic tags on Spaces as of 24 September 2021.
Implications for Marketers:
Twitter’s topic tags on Spaces can boost their discovery further. For marketers, they can potentially expand the reach of audio broadcasts based on related topics. They also make it easier for the Twitter nation to find relevant audio ads and campaigns.
