YouTube Brings More Studio Analytics to Its Mobile App

Expansion is happening on YouTube today! Recently, the platform lowered its community posting eligibility threshold to only 500 followers. YouTube Shorts is now made available to all regions in the world. Even the access to clips has been expanded to 10 times more gaming channels. Today, YouTube brings more studio analytics to its mobile app.

The announcement was made by Conor Kavanagh, YouTube’s Ads Policy Manager, at the Creator Insider Channel. Conor notes that the platform aims to be more studio desktop features to its mobile app. Today, new analytics reports are now available on mobile. These include:

  • Monthly Revenues and Transaction Revenues under the Revenue tab. These new analytics reports include insights about memberships, super chatssuper stickerssuper thanks, etc.  
  • Traffic Source Performance Report under the Video Overview. This analytics report shows 2 specific insights – a summary of your traffic source performance, and if they are higher, lower, or typical compared to previous videos.

Implications for Marketers: 

As YouTube brings more studio analytics to its mobile app, it is giving marketers the flexibility to get insights on YouTube. As such, it will be easier for brands to level up their video marketing strategy.
