Twitter Rolls Out NFT Profile Pictures on iOS

Twitter makes another big step when it comes to NFT. After launching a crypto team to handle NFT profile verification, the platform has long been testing an NFT display option. Today, Twitter rolls out NFT profile pictures on iOS for Twitter Blue users.

Twitter Blue is a paid subscription service to access exclusive features. Starting today, Twitter Blue users can a new profile picture option to choose NFT. The user will be prompted to link the Twitter Blue account to his or her crypto wallet to establish a direct pipeline between the NFT image and ownership info. NFT profile pictures will display in hexagonal form and will provide information about the image when tapped.

Twitter rolls out NFT profile pictures on iOS as of 20 January 2022.
