Since the last quarter of 2020, Snapchat planned to boost video content within the platform. It announced a 20/20 vision for mobile videos to attract Gen Z and millennials. It also has a huge sound library and enabled remix snaps and Spotlight. Today, Snapchat now allows sharing YouTube links.

Starting today, Snapchat Android and iOS users can share a YouTube clip directly on the Snap camera. When Snap chatters watch a YouTube video, they can tap the share button and choose the Snapchat icon to create an automated YouTube sticker via a one-on-one snap or Snap stories.
Snapchat now allows sharing YouTube links on 31 March 2022.
Implications for Marketers:
Sharing YouTube links on Snapchat can help marketers drive traffic to the YouTube channel of a brand or business. They are also a good way to share valuable videos like product overviews and tutorials via snaps.
