Pinterest continuously finds ways to make ads better and stronger. The platform introduced idea ads and new ad metrics. With AR try-on, shops, and story pins, brands can convert pinners into buyers. Currently, Pinterest ads are available in 29 countries, with Brazil as the latest addition. Today, Pinterest ads expand to Argentina, Chile, and Colombia.
The expansion of Pinterest ads to these three countries in Latin America is part of its global expansion plan. It is because there are around 80 million active pinners in the region – 20% of total pinners globally. Brands such as Tienda Paris (part of Cencosud Group) and agencies like Public Groupe have already created Pinterest campaigns in Argentina, Columbia, and Chile to kickstart the expansion.
