LinkedIn Spark 2022 commenced on the last 15th of March. Spark 2022 is a premier sales event about the best marketing practices on LinkedIn. It tackled one of LinkedIn’s best tools – Company Pages. Company Pages are equipped with a lot of marketing features and tools. These include boost marketing features, competitive analytics tools, page rating & reviews, and product tabs. Today, LinkedIn adds “Newsletter” to company pages.
LinkedIn believes in the power of connection. That is why the platform continuously iterates solutions to help a network grow. Last year, the platform debuted Articles for Pages as a tool to publish long-form content. Today, the platform introduces Newsletters, a new way to build communities around topics that matter most to them.
LinkedIn Newsletter
LinkedIn Newsletter makes it easier to draft and publish long-form content. It can drive immediate reach by notifying your followers with updates on published news content. It can also be shared outside the LinkedIn community. LinkedIn users who subscribed to a company newsletter will also receive an email notification for new content.
Early Adopters & Results
Two of the early adopters to use LinkedIn Newsletter are:
Through LinkedIn Newsletter, Insider gained 820,000 subscribers within 24 hours. While Zoom witnessed more than 10% opt-ins within 24 hours after publishing its first LinkedIn Newsletter content.
LinkedIn adds Newsletter to company pages on 22 March 2022.
Implications for Marketers:
LinkedIn Newsletter is a great way for marketers to maximize in-app engagement. As more professionals crave valuable content, it can be a way for brands to showcase their expertise on LinkedIn and grow their network.
