Skills are one of the main goals of Google for its advertisers and partners. As the world’s largest search engine, it aims to give the world access to valuable information. Last year, Google celebrated Small Biz Week with new business tools and resources. As the search engine added store badges, it enabled performance max tools, it began testing Shorts ads. Today, Google expands its partnership with Goodwill.
Goodwill Industries International, Inc. is a US 501 nonprofit providing free community-based programs, employment placement services, and skills training. Since 2017, Google and Goodwill partnered to bring digital skills to the American communities. Today, Google announces a $14 million partnership renewal with Goodwill Digital Career Accelerator. Such a partnership renewal includes grants and in-kinds for Goodwill to continue providing digital training and job placement services. The expanded partnership will include $7 million in donated Search ads and $7 million in Google.org grants.
Google expands its partnership with Goodwill on 09 May 2022.
Implications to Marketers:
As Google expands its partnership with Goodwill, its benefits to marketers are clear. Training programs can help reinforce digital marketing and can broadly improve the digital marketplace.
