A lot of changes are happening on Twitter nowadays. That is right after the Twitter board agreed to sell the platform to Elon Musk. The Twitter circle is now under testing. So are multi-attachments, unmentioning, and Vibes. Today, Twitter tests a “liked by author” tweet label.
The “liked by author” tweet label shows if a tweet author liked a reply. It appears to give people more context about the tweets they see. The badge will show to both the person who replied and to others viewing the tweet. It is unconfirmed if the test is global as Twitter never gives a word about it. It is a reporter from the TechCrunch team who spotted the “liked by author” tweet label in the Android app.
Twitter tests a “liked by author” tweet label on 16 May 2022.
