Twitter is set to launch its paid subscriptions. The platform has been testing a Super follow feature since February 2021. These are paid services that a Twitter Professional profile can offer. Recently, Twitter enabled a collections folder to save tweets. This is one exclusive function under a Twitter Blue subscription. Jane Manchun Wong, a reverse engineering expert, posts the update on her Twitter account, A new “Super Followers” button appears on the right side of a Twitter profile. The number showing on such a button provides a quick count of paying Twitter subscribers following the account. This can inspire more users to sign-up and pay for exclusive tweets and extra content. During Twitter’s Analyst Day, the platform introduced the “Super Followers” option for $4.99 monthly. Such a subscription will allow expanded access to exclusive Twitter content, member discounts on partner merchandise, and newsletters.
