Here’s something new to help improve business results on Snapchat! Snapchat adds “My Places” on Snap Map! After launching Bitmoji avatars, Holiday Resource Hub, and Spotlight tools, the multi-messaging app is determined to make another eCommerce push.
Snapchat’s “My Places” is a new way to discover a new business through recommendations from friends and the Snapchat community. With Snap Map housing 30 million businesses globally, “My Places” makes it easier to find local favorites and popular places. It can also help users find friends in real life.
To access “My Places”, just tap the “Places” button at the bottom of the Snap Map. The “My Places” prompt will appear and if you tap “let’s go”, you will see a list of potential interests at the bottom of the map. Tap your preferred business on the listing to see its full information.
