It was in October 2021 when Facebook rebranded into Meta. Meta is a social tech company. Its vision is to incorporate augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) experiences in the physical world. Among the AR & VR devices that Meta has already launched are AR glasses, AR hats, haptic gloves, Portal, and the Oculus Quest headset. Today, Meta expands the availability of Ray-Ban stories.
Meta unveiled Ray-Ban Stories, smart AR glasses, in September 2021 in partnership with Luxottica, the maker of Ray-Ban. Smart glasses allow users to capture photos, listen to music, post on Facebook, record short clips and take calls.
Ray-Ban Stories is currently available in Australia, Canada, Ireland, Italy, the UK, and the US. Today, Meta expands the availability of Ray-Ban Stories. Starting today, it will now be available in Austria, Belgium, and Spain. By the 14th of April, it will also be available in France. The Facebook view app in the said spectacles will also be available in Dutch, German, French, and Spanish languages.
Meta expands the availability of Ray-Ban stories to 4 new regions on 17 March 2022.
