Reels are becoming the most powerful content formats on Instagram and Facebook. They are a TikTok clone of music clips that can last up to 90-second. Today, Meta enables Reels scheduling on the desktop.
Meta enables a Reels desktop composer via the Creator Studio in just three steps. First, users can create and upload a 60-second video on the Reels composer. Second, a user can add a description of the clip. Third, the user can see the Reels preview. Users can also reframe a horizontal clip into a square or vertical format. Today, they can also schedule clips as Reels or video posts on desktops.
Meta enables Reels scheduling on desktop as of 15 August 2022.
Implications to Marketers:
As Meta enables Reels scheduling on desktop, it will be easier for marketers to fill their social media marketing calendar. They could focus more on leveling up creatives to boost conversion.
