Meta never neglects Messenger being a vital part of Facebook. It continuously finds ways to improve the messaging platform. It enabled command shortcuts, emoji search, end-to-end encryption, and expression tools. Today, Messenger enables group chat links.
The new Messenger chief, Loredana Crisan, announces the update. Messenger now allows sharing group chats links to kick off group conversations. They can start group communications for new acquaintances as kids get back to school. Only admins can approve new members and turn the link off or on.
Messenger enables group chat links on 01 September 2022.
Implications to Marketers:
Sharing group chat links in Messenger can be an easy way for marketers to optimize chat experiences among target audiences. Brands can use it to invite prospects to exclusive communities, request opinions, and reveal new products.
