Instagram Stories was launched in August 2016. Today, around 500 million Instagrammers use such a feature daily. The platform is continually developing its features and tools. It is testing auto-caption for Stories, Stories draft, timer listing, and vertical Stories. Recently, it launched chat stickers. Today, Instagram rolls out caption stickers for Stories.

The new caption stickers on Instagram Stories are a speech-to-text feature. When a user adds a caption sticker in a Story, it will automatically translate what you say into text. The auto-generated text will then appear as a caption for the user’s Story. Users can edit the text caption as the auto-generated text are not 100% accurate. They can also edit the caption’s color, font, and position. Instagram’s caption stickers for Stories are initially available in the English language and within English-speaking countries only. Instagram has also noted expanding caption stickers to more countries and in Reels soon.
