Instagram brings new energy and purpose to its visual elements. After introducing a full-screen display and tagging features, it is now redesigning its visual effects. Today, Instagram introduces a visual refresh.
Center and Front Full-Screen Content Layout
For a more universal experience, Instagram puts content in full-screen at the center and front. It focuses on self-expression and simplicity to show full images, text, and videos.
Reimagined Instagram Logo
Using an innovative 3D modeling process, Instagram illuminates its logo with a new color gradient. It signals new energy to create Stories, stickers, and more.
Sans Typeface
Instagram also introduces a new “Sans” typeface, which can adapt to global scripts including Arabic, Japanese, and Thai. The new typeface highlights Instagram’s unique identity.
Instagram introduces a visual refresh on 23 May 2022.
Implications to Marketers:
Instagram’s visual refresh may not be a big update. But marketers can still make the most out of it by broadening their reach to different regions of the world. Still, the key to Instagram marketing remains creativity.
