Google makes improvements to its overall ranking process several times a year. Recently, the platform hosted the 2022 I/O Summit and a live marketing event. During these events, Google announced new features and tools to ramp up eCommerce. Today, Google rolls out a major core search update.
It is called the May 2022 Core Update. Just the same, Google applies the EAT guidelines in its quality rating. But the platform will focus more on content that answers quality questions, expertise knowledge, present the product as an answer, and stands out when compared to other web pages. Google search central listed a series of questions to assess these four new content criteria.
