Facebook aims to strengthen communities, groups, and pages. Recently, the platform held the Facebook Communities Summit 2021. This is the latest of annual conferences that the platform hosted. The focus of the summit is the introduction of new tools for groups. This is in addition to the recently added brand collab, engagement alerts, and post control.
Build a Community of Strong Culture
Facebook respects the unique identity of each group. As such, it enables custom color and posts background among groups. Admins can now customize backgrounds, colors, emojis, and fonts for each group post to promote inclusivity. They can also use a preset collection of badges and post formats. The suggested format will appear on the posting button once group members tried to add one.
Community Awards
Facebook also officially announces a new Community Awards. It will allow group members to add fun, insightful, and uplifting markers among group comments and posts that they find valuable to them

Community Chats
Like Community Awards, an upcoming group messaging feature was also announced – Community Chats. It will allow group members to connect in real-time and create recurring events.
Subgroups
Facebook also introduces “subgroups.” This is a paid element on groups that admins can use to host exclusive topic conversations.
Finally, the platform is also working on integrating groups and pages into a single experience. Facebook announces new group tools on 04 November 2021.
