If it’s Tuesday, it’s news day for YouTube! After releasing the January 2022 Shorts fund bonus, YouTube adds new insights for music creators. YouTube’s Ads Policy Manager, Conor Kavanagh, announces the launch of 2 new cards within analytics on the official artist channels. These are “Tops Songs in Shorts” and “Top Shorts with Your Song.”
Top songs in Shorts will show the volume of creations and views of top Shorts using the said music. Top shorts with your song shows a spaced list of popular Shorts with a given artist song being used. The data covers the previous 28 days. When joined together, these two new cards will provide top-level insights among YouTube artists and music creators.
