Last September, Twitter established Twitter Flight School. Today, Twitter has introduced new features and improvements to increase usage and income for the business, whoever owns it, notwithstanding the Elon Musk scandal.
Twitter is also emphasizing the reach of tweets to non-users, which might be far higher than its official active user counts, to show that it is more useful and relevant than its raw user count may imply.
When you screenshot a tweet, Twitter now prompts you to share in the app or share a link to the tweet.
App analyst Jane Manchun Wong claims Twitter tries to discourage users from posting tweets outside the app, which results in untrackable reach and use. That lowers utilization statistics, hurting the firm.
These pop-up prompts are taking place on 8 October 2022.
