The update is similar to Twitter’s check-in settings, mention controls, and warning alerts. Starting today, users with a locked or suspended account will receive an alert the moment he or she logs in. The alert will show whether the account is locked or suspended together with a brief explanation of the account status. The explanation also shows the possible expectation as to when the lock on an account be lifted and where to file an appeal for suspended accounts.
