Twitter notes the importance of knowing where your account stands. Every Twitter user should be aware of account penalties and their impact on them. As such, the platform is testing a new account to know whether it is locked or suspended right at the moment they log in. Twitter tests alert for locked and suspended accounts.

The update is similar to Twitter’s check-in settings, mention controls, and warning alerts. Starting today, users with a locked or suspended account will receive an alert the moment he or she logs in. The explanation also shows the possible expectation as to when the lock on an account be lifted and where to file an appeal for suspended accounts.
