Here’s exciting news about supercomputers. Meta introduces AI Research SuperCluster! As the rebranded Facebook social tech company, its vision for Metaverse is innovating artificial intelligence (AI) with interactive AR and VR.
Meta introduces the AI Research SuperCluster (RSC) as the fastest supercomputers running today. It is 20x faster than Meta’s V100-based production clusters and 9x faster than Meta’s V100-based research clusters. The AI Research SuperCluster is equipped with trillions of parameters for natural language processing (NLP) and training models. That means that it can seamlessly analyze images, texts, and videos across hundreds of different languages. Meta expects AI RSC to be fully built by mid-2022.
