Facebook is still the king of social media. The platform shows user growth in Q1 of 2022. As Facebook and Instagram remain in Europe, Facebook bounces back after a decline in its DAU in 2021.
Last year, Facebook closed the year with 2.91 billion monthly active users (MAUs). This is even though there was a huge decline in daily active users (DAUs) in Q3 of 2021. In the recent Facebook report for Q1 of 2022, the king of social media was able to bounce back by winning back millennial users. With a 4% YOY, Meta’s flagship now has a total MAU of 2.93 billion.
Facebook shows user growth in Q1 of 2022 as of 27 April 2022.
Implications to Marketers:
As Facebook shows user growth in Q1 of 2022, it eliminates the doubt that marketing on the platform is declining. With a growing audience, brands and businesses can never go wrong promoting on Facebook.
