Facebook’s AI is one of the smartest technologies in social media today. Through machine learning, the platform has an automated alt-text process for images. It has also enhanced video advertising through dynamic ads and personalized experiences. Today, Facebook introduces TextStyleBrush for styling text.
TextStyleBrush is Facebook’s AI research project that allows changing or copying of the text style on a photo using a single word. In the above example, the text for each vegetable was edited and replaced with an English translation. TextStyleBrush can also be used for text replication. It is a self-supervised model that can replace text for both handwriting and scene.
Facebook introduces TextStyleBrush on 11 June 2021.
Implications for Marketers:
Even though TextStyleBrush is a research project of Facebook, there’s a possibility to add such an AI tool on the platform itself. This can help marketers craft personalized captions and messages along with other Facebook applications. Brands should look forward to having a hands-on with the said technology.
