Training has been an integral part of Facebook communities. This is why the platform is continuously providing training and support among its members. It has launched a community accelerator program, community management courses, social good for business, social skills video series, and summer of support. Recently, Facebook expands its free advertising training.
Last 15 July 2020, Facebook set up Rise, a free advertising program through Facebook Groups. It was initially rolled out in Brazil. It was then expanded to Latin America. Today, Facebook is making such free advertising training available to 4 more countries – Canada, Italy, Singapore, and the US. The rise includes digital skills and professional development training through live Q & As and pre-recorded sessions. The content focuses on 3 pillars – learn, grow, and thrive.
- Learn includes educational resources from Facebook Blueprint trainers. It covers digital and technical skills topics such as creative strategy, media buying, and media planning.
- Grow covers soft training for professional advancement administered by the Fast Forward Group. The training includes creative portfolio building, interview preparation, resume writing, and vision writing.
- Thrive evolves in sharing inspirational stories on business resilience and career reinvention.
To access the free training, interested Facebook members can join via the Rise Page. To be eligible, a participant must have at least 1-year experience in an advertising or digital agency.
Facebook expands its free advertising training as of 29 March 2021.
