Before 2021 ends, YouTube never misses the chance to bring out new features. It tests customizable Super Thanks comments and new membership features. These are in addition to Super Chats and Super Stickers.
Customizable Super Thanks Comments
The “Super Thanks” feature allows YouTube fans to express gratitude and show support among creators. Fans can buy tips at 4 prices between $2 and $50 or its local currency equivalence. In exchange, they will receive animated GIFs comments to highlight their purchase. Today, YouTube is testing customizable commenting on Super Thanks. Colors will highlight the donation in the comments. This is to allow deeper connections between creators and fans.
New Membership Features
YouTube also adds new membership features to help creators easily manage their channel members’ data. The platform added an option to export their member listing in a CSV file. It also added a new integration with IFTTT for setting up membership incentives and perks.
