YouTube Announces the Black Voices Fund Application for the Class of 2023

One of YouTube’s main goals is content inclusivity. Even in its channel changers of 2021, the platform features a diverse mix of races all over the world. Today, YouTube announces the Black Voices Fund Application for the Class of 2023.

It was 2 years ago when YouTube launched the YouTube Black Voices Fund. It aims to amplify the experiences and perspectives of the Black Community on YouTube. By directly supporting Black artists, producers, and songwriters, they can show their talents and uniqueness throughout the platform.  The support will provide them with resources and tools to thrive in the YouTube community. E! People’s Choice Award Nominee The Odditty, Grammy award-winning producer Jay Versace, and Webby award-winning group the Critics Company are some of the notable alumni of the said program.

Black creators can submit the Black Voices Fund Application for the class of 2023 starting on 14 June 2022.

Implications to Marketers:

YouTube’s Black Voices Fund is a way to show that Black creators could play a big role on YouTube. For marketers, it can facilitate both inspiration and revenue by using creatives for a YouTube marketing strategy.
