Twitter Expands Its Global Offices to Ghana

Twitter is one of the top 5 social media networks in the world. With around 340 million monthly active users, the platform now focuses on enhancing eCommerce. After rebranding its ad products, Twitter expands its global offices to Ghana.

According to Twitter Blackbirds, a business resource group for black employees, the African continent is very dear to the platform. That is why putting is now setting up a team in Ghana. The goal of the expansion is to boost the presence of Twitter in the growing African tech sector. Twitter’s Ghana team will be hiring local product designers, engineers plus marketing and communications specialists. 

Twitter also highlights that the team in Ghana is a good investment in local communities. Ghana is a champion for free speech and online freedom. The country was recently appointed as host for The Secretariat of the African Continental Free Trade Area. This means establishing an Open Internet presence in the African region.
