Facebook Tests One-Time Sharing of Posts to Multiple Groups

Sharing is one of the most important engagements on Facebook. It boosts the reach of a post to the followers and friends of the one who shared. Even though Facebook uses misinformation alerts when sharing a post, it continuously innovates to make sharing posts easier. These include animated reactions and cross-sharing of Reels on Facebook and Instagram. Today, Facebook tests one-time sharing of posts to multiple groups.

Matt Navarra, a social media expert, shares a tweet about a prompt where Facebook encourages its users to share a post among multiple groups. It is through a message at the bottom of the screen that says: “You can cross-post this post to more groups.” A “Select Groups” link follows the message. Clicking the link allows a user to select the groups for one-time sharing of the post.
