Everybody’s preparing for Apple’s IDFA to be put in place. Facebook, for one, conducted a webinar about its impact on brands and users alike. It also tested limited log-in mode for creators and new prompts to encourage Apple users to allow data tracking. As an added move, Facebook Audience Network adds new monetization resources.
The revenue of Facebook advertisers may be reduced by 50% once Apple’s IDFA is implemented. To counteract the challenge, Facebook adds new monetization resources to its Audience Network. These include:
- App Bidding Guidance. A guide on how to integrate bidding in a business app. All iOS apps of the Audience Network publishers will migrate to bidding by 31 March 2021.
- Gaming App Monetization Guides. Facebook Audience Network updates its gaming page regularly providing new gaming revenue sources and global expansion opportunities.
- Inspiration. A separate section for success stories of Facebook app developers.
- Learning Tools. A new glossary of app monetization terms and links to Blueprint courses will also be added soon.

The new monetization resources of Facebook Audience Network are alternative approaches to earn revenues once Apple’s IDFA reduces app tracking.
