YouTube rolls out a stricter comment moderation tool. Creators can enable increased strictness under the auto-comment moderation tab. It will hold potentially inappropriate comments under the “Held for Review” tab.
Disabling Hidden Subscriber Counts
Previously, channels have the option to hide subscriber counts. But YouTube found out that hiding the number of subscribers supports the proliferation of fake accounts. As such, YouTube will no longer allow hidden subscriber counts.
Limiting Special Characters on Channel Names
Another area where YouTube finds supporting impersonation is using special characters on channel names. That is why the platform will now limit the use of special characters to new channel names.
