Never miss a group call again! This is the WhatsApp tagline to their new feature update. After testing multi-device capability and speeding voice messages playback, WhatsApp enables new joinable call features. This is similar to Facebook’s Catchup, an app for group voice calls.
Today, WhatsApp’s new joinable group call features the ability to join an ongoing video call. Once your phone rings for a WhatsApp group call. You can join and leave anytime you want while the call is ongoing. WhatsApp also adds a call info screen for users to see people who already joined the call. They can also see the list of people invited but who have not joined the call yet.
