Facebook Enables Music Comments

The main goal of Facebook is to connect people to the world. It can be done through engagement and interaction. That is why the platform focused on content moderation for quality commenting. It also introduced spotlight conversations, a separate comment section for a more exclusive interaction. Today, Facebook enables music comments.

Music is the shorthand of emotions. For a more authentic conversation, Facebook enables music comments. Matt Navarra, the founder of Geekout, tweets the update. He shows that a tie symbol will appear in the comment section of a Facebook post. Clicking the tie symbol will allow users to add music as a comment. It is currently available to Facebook Android and desktop users.

Facebook enables music comments on 23 April 2022.

Implications to Marketers:

Music comments on Facebook are another way for marketers to boost engagement in a post. As it provides a new option to listen to favorite tracks, it can also be a way to promote artists or brand jingles in a chat.
