A great part of Facebook is helping communities grow and learn. Recently, the platform has concluded a 7-part Social Skills video training. Right after its completion, Facebook partnered with Coursera and Goodwill to conduct social media marketing training. Today, Facebook announces its 2nd Community Accelerator Program.
The 1st batch of Facebook’s Community Accelerator Program kicked off last November 2020. It focused mainly on maximizing internet connectivity for brands and businesses. There are around 20 brands worldwide that have participated in the program. The 2nd batch of Facebook’s Community Accelerator Program aims to help Facebook Group admins to maximize their community impact. During the 8-month program, participants will gain access to new products, funding, and training to help expand the presence of Facebook Groups.
Applications for the 2nd Community Accelerator Program are open from 04 May 2021 to 31 May 2021. Facebook’s 2nd Community Accelerator Program requires a group admin to have a Facebook Group that existed for more than 1 year and with a minimum of 1000 members. Facebook is looking for participants in the following countries:
