Instagram has come up with a new interactive feature that is going to catch the attention of brands and influencers. Now Instagram users can utilize the emoji slider sticker to take opinions of their friends and followers.
The popular photo and video sharing app introduced the Emoji Slider Sticker. This enables the users to ask questions from their followers and their followers can answer by using a sliding scale. This adds to the poll feature that was launched by Instagram earlier in October.
According to Instagram, “To add an emoji slider sticker to your Story, select it from the sticker tray after taking a photo or video. Place it anywhere you’d like and write out your question. Then, set the emoji that best matches your question’s mood. You can pick from a few of the most popular emoji, or choose almost any emoji from your library if you have something specific in mind. Like with the poll sticker, friends and followers will be able to respond to your slider as soon as you’ve shared it.”
When the emoji slider sticker pops up in the stories, the users can slide it left or right and watch it go into animation. Their vote is recorded when the emoji slider is released. The average of all votes is shown in poll results to the user.
