On 22 October 2020, Facebook announced the launch of its latest podcast, a podcast dedicated to giving users insights and advice for their businesses. The podcast is hosted by David Fischer, Facebook’s Chief Revenue Officer. It is titled “Boost My Business with David Fischer”, and it hopes to tackle how to navigate businesses during this time and see how to further strengthen businesses to last over the years. This is what Facebook had to say:
“We’re at a moment of change, and if we’ve learned anything from the pandemic, it’s that our ability to connect through technology has never been more important. Many brands have needed to make significant shifts to their business models, pushing them to navigate new territory and remain resilient in the face of uncertainty… we’re bringing together unexpected pairings of business leaders and small business owners to reveal new insights, opportunities and challenges that hold the power to transform how businesses are built in the 21st century. We’ll talk about interesting trends and how we’re re-imagining business now and into the future to help you develop new perspectives and discover how real connection can lead to real wisdom in the world of business.”
The first episode of the podcast has already been released, featuring Courtney Shaw-Scipio, Founder of Inspired by Annette Event Design and Rentals, and Arian Simone, entrepreneur, author, and co-founder of the Fearless Fund. They discussed building and growing their own businesses, finding their passions, and overcoming challenges and obstacles.
“Boost My Business with David Fischer” will feature different guests for each new episode, and new episodes are slated to come out over the next few weeks.
This new podcast would be able to provide fresh insight to brands and marketers alike. They could learn from successful entrepreneurs and marketers who have implemented their own strategies to drive success, and they could learn a few tips on how to navigate a tumultuous business environment following the coronavirus pandemic.
